By way of an announcement from The Chief Dental Officer on 28th May 2020, the Government has decided that dental practices across England are allowed to begin the process of reopening from Monday 8th June 2020.
Whilst we welcome the news that we will be able to re-open and begin to resume services for our patients once again, we need to emphasise that the safety of both our patients and staff remains of the highest importance to us as it has been throughout the pandemic.
Accordingly, we will be re-opening in a phased manner after thoroughly reviewing and adapting our safety equipment and procedures to ensure they meet the current COVID-19 guidelines.
Despite global shortages, we are currently in the process of sourcing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and disinfection products that meets the required high standards. We are working through the details and logistics of this as quickly as we possibly can as well as physically adapting our practice. We will continue to keep you updated of exactly how and when we will be reopening.
In the meantime, if you need advice and/or are suffering from dental pain or swelling, please continue to contact the practice on 01454313913, from Monday – Thursday 9-5 pm Lunch 1-2 pm and Friday 9-4 pm 1-2 pm and we will continue to assist you. Outside of working hours, please contact NHS 111 for any dental emergencies. If non-urgent then email us on email@example.com
When we are able to re-open the practice safely, we will be prioritising and seeing patients who are in urgent need. We will not immediately be able to offer all normal services.
Unfortunately, we cannot see walk-in patients at all. Please ensure you only attend the practice if you have an appointment and have been fully triaged. We will keep you fully informed throughout this transitional period via email, on our website and our Facebook page. Please do not try to make any routine appointments until further notice as we simply cannot accommodate such appointments at this time.
We remain absolutely committed to providing safe, accessible care and treatment to all our patients.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon.
